Michael is Brightline Solutions’ Principal Agile Lean Coach and Chief Methodologist.

He is an experienced, degreed, and credentialed Agile services professional, serving as an enterprise Agile consultant, coach, process engineer, and organizational design and change specialist for multiple sectors and lines of business. Michael is a practicing Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe 4.5) Program Consultant (SPC), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), and Product Owner (CSPO). He has been an accredited Project Management Professional (PMP) for nearly fifteen years, and he holds multiple degrees — including a MS degree in Computer Information Systems.

He is an experienced technologist, product developer, and staff development expert; with a specialty in enterprise software application design, development, and delivery; rapid, adaptive, and responsive software development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, KanBan, XP, SAFe, Lean, and blended-frameworks); and enterprise system integration (SI) project optimization and governance for organizations of all sizes. He has successfully governed delivery of complex, adaptive IT and business solutions products for more than 15 years. Michael leads our Scaled Enterprise Agile Transformation (SEAT) Practice.

Michael specializes in the servant leadership of teams delivering reliable, responsive products and frameworks into the hands of delighted customers and users. He coaches the evolution of viable product increments through adaptive, iterative design, development and delivery frameworks into complex digital business solutions. I implement and optimize critical development team performance elements, and foster improved development capability in private firms and public-sector organizations.

He currently provides consultation for scaled Agile and Lean transformation initiatives, and professional coaching and facilitation services for Brightline’s public and private sector clients; promoting the growth and adoption of their teams, practices, and frameworks. He has consulted and coached more than a dozen professional services firm and state organizations through their Agile enterprise transformations, directly leading in each engagement to highly-performing teams, improved product quality, accelerated delivery, and delighted users.
